Some simple advice can help you stay healthy without living on tasteless food:

  • Choose low-fat dairy products…milk, cheese, cottage cheese, etc.
  • Exchange lean meat for fattier varieties. Remove fat and skin before cooking.
  • Don’t skip meals, especially breakfast. You need to start the day with good nutrition.
  • Keep hydrated…drink plenty of water
  • Avoid alcohol
  • Carbohydrates are not your enemy…select carbs with a low Glycemic Index. You can find several indexes on the Internet.
