What’s Your Favourite Untensil?
I have a few utensils in my kitchen that I use all the time, and others not so often. But my favourite utensil I own is my stainless steel rings.
I use these rings for many different jobs. I use them to make circular dishes, for example individual cheesecakes. I also use these as cutters as they are a perfect size for biscuits or roundalls in pastry. And I can use them to keep an egg separate in the frying pan.
They are so versatile that I use them often and I really love them.
So what is your favourite kitchen utensil?

Hi Mandy,
I just recently bought these sort of cutters to use them for homemade English muffins, which I have not tried yet, but will do so very soon
I love all my kitchen gadgets as I just love to cook! I guess if you asked which thing I couldn’t be without and that would have to be my KitchenAid stand mixer. Does everything for me in a very short period of time, plus I just LOVE the way it does the kneading for me. I make a lot of pizza using my own pizza dough recipe and this just takes all that kneading time out.

Hi Linda, cutters are great, I love shaped cutters for festivities. I don’t have a mixer, I suspect I’d save lots of time if I did though!
Enjoy the journey.

Wow, Linda! Your Baked Cinnamon French Toast sounds yummy. I will make it one of these weekends. I love cinnamon on anything.
Now that I think about it I will probably make it tomorrow. I like tasty beginnings to Sundays.

Hi Mandy,
I would have to say the potato ricer, using it gives us perfect mash every time….. and an extra bowl to get my fingers into at the end

Hi Barry, thanks for visiting. I don’t have a potato ricer and I do a lot of things by hand, so I don’t have mixers etc, but this gadget sounds like a good buy!
Enjoy the journey.

Hmmm… it’s not exactly a utensil but a bowl. A brown Tupperware bowl that’s thick, heavy duty and has a big handle on one side. I’ve had it for ages and I think it’s older than my kids (20 years+!) but I’ve used it to mix up many a cookie and cake batter.
Thanks,
Peggy

Hi Peggy, thanks for visiting. I too have a couple of bowls I would not be without. They are so important. I’ve had new bowls but they simply are not the same.
Enjoy the journey.
